Our Adventures
Wildlife park
SPORMAGGIORE (TN)
This morning, always in the company of our dog Daisy, we visited the "Spormaggiore wildlife park” which is located in Spormaggiore in the province of Trento, on the Paganella plateau. It can be reached via the major road arteries, by car or by bus.

THE PARK
Once we arrived, we parked the car in the designated parking area (Free) and we headed to the entrance where we paid the ticket (cost: €7.50 for Trentino residents, €9.00 for non-residents) and thus began the visit.
As soon as you enter there is an area where you can charge electric bicycles, aPlayground, a very comfortable “Baby Point” in which there is everything you need to take care of of the youngest visitors to the park (Bathrooms including changing tables, parking space for leaving strollers, etc) and finally a cute oneRefreshment point which, in addition to selling food, drinks and sweets of all kinds, also sells beautiful soft toys and gadgets.
ThePark it is divided into paths and each of them leads to the habitat of a different animal: Eagle Owls, Lynxes, Roe Deers, Wild Cats, Wolves, Otters, Foxes, Bears, Ducks/Ducks; Everything is very clean and the animal areas are all large and adapted to the needs of each of them.
Unfortunately we did not have the pleasure of admiring all the beautiful animals present in the park, since some of them, being nocturnal animals, would have come out more easily in the late afternoon.
Despite this, however, we were very happy and satisfied with this experience and with the animals we were able to see.
Towards the end of the visit we had the pleasure of coming across a beautiful “Educational Farm”, excellent for those with children, within which there are many animals (hens, peacocks, goats, ponies, rabbits, etc...) that you can even stroke!
Once the tour has been completed inside theWildlife park, you have the option of either exiting from where you entered and thus returning to the parking lot or taking the panoramic route of the bears (duration about 10 min) which connects directly to the park entrance of the “Castel Belfort”, suggestiveMedieval ruin which can also be reached with a stroller.
