Our Adventures
FORT TENNA
TENNA (TN)
A question we are often asked is: "We can do it with our children, is it difficult?" or, "Are dogs welcome on the trail?"
The answer is yes to both questions, the path is not at all difficult for children, on the contrary, they will have a lot of fun!

THE WALK
At the beginning you will find a dirt road with a medium grade climb, but trust me along the way you will find:Blackberries, Figs, Strawberries, Chestnuts, White grapes And Red and so on ! In addition to having a breathtaking view of both lakes, Caldonazzo and Levico.
To our friends a Four paws entry is not forbidden, however, remember to keep them on a leash especially for safety reasons, given that the route is also often frequented by mountain bike lovers and should they need to be picked up, out of respect for all visitors but above all of the environment!

Following the path, finally, you reach the small but beautiful Medieval church of San Valentino (which hides many small historical curiosities) where it is possible to take a break to eat, drink and take beautiful photos thanks to the Picnic area, but not only!
In the area surrounding the Church there are information boards on which it is possible to read the history of the Church, of the route and more. We discovered that the route dates back to Roman times and is a road Romano Altino Adriatica, the Church instead, which rises in the municipal territory of Caldonazzo (TN), is already mentioned in 13th century AD and it seems that it was built even before 1259, as evidenced by a document of the Bishop of Trento Egnone.

Once the break was over, we resumed the route until we reached the Fort Tenna and to follow the historic center. Continuing on, one enters Off to the lake, after a few meters turn left and following a country road you return to Start point.
